Ayden Miller is a Canadian songwriter/musician best known for his work with the alt/pop rock group 'New Friends'. Since starting his musical journey on the piano at the age of 10, Miller began to become passionate about songwriting and music marketing when he formed his first band in high school. After graduating from Twin Lakes Secondary School in Orillia, ON, Miller took a gap-year to continue honing his skills in songwriting. That year he co-wrote a song called “I Need You” by 'The Pesky Snakes' that has now gone on to stream over a Million times on Spotify. It was that year that he also discovered and was later accepted into the Music Industry Arts program at Fanshawe College. Between 2018-2020 he formed and had success with his new band, 'New Friends.' The groups first single “Purple Candy” would put them on the map and spark a buzz online and throughout the London music scene. During his time in college he received the SONY/ATV songwriting award, the Antonio Lanni songwriting award and Fanshawe’s inaugural Music Industry Artist of the Year with New Friends. While studying at Fanshawe, Miller was also asked to join the Juno-Nominated pop rock group ‘Bleeker’ as the keyboard player for their live shows. Prior to the global pandemic, Ayden was set to embark on his first ever North American tour with Bleeker opening for AWOLNATION. Unfortunately the tour was cancelled. In 2021 he is continuing to learn and grow as a songwriter and is very excited about what the future may hold.
