Spoons - Like A Memory Bridges Over Borders
Their producer was renting Arnold's home demo studio and heard the album Arnold was working on ( Frozen Ghost - Frozen Ghost) and he really liked the guitars so he asked Arnold to play some guitar parts on the Spoon's album that Tom was producing. Fun fact - Arnold wasn't a guitar player. He hadn't played on FG because he wanted to but because the album was low ( no ) budget. He had played the guitar parts on FG out of necessity.
Gary Furness was Tom's production partner. Years later, when Arnold was developing Our Lady Peace, Gary was working at Sony Publishing and Sony signed OLP to both a recording and publishing contract. Two old friends ( Arnold and Gary) were working together again.
